Miwa Yanagi is a Japanese artist. She recieved international acclaim for her Photographic series "Elevator Girls"(96-98) and "my Grandmothers" (2000)And is known for analysing the intricate relationship between young and old women. "Fairy Tales" is her latest series,monochrome prints illustrating climatic scenes of childrens stories written by the Brothers Grimm, Hans Christian Andersen and Gabriel Garcia Marquez.
